They decide to take a cruise, the classic last attempt for many desperate couples. While we see the couple slowly fall apart, the movie flashes back to how they met and fell in love. She was a nurse on a hospital ship in the Vietnam War and he was a wounded pilot. Her memories of their past love keep her hopes alive as her husband mopes around the ship. She decides to throw the jealousy card down to see if he takes the bait. Will their love survive the cruise? Every sex scene is accompanied by ghastly music. Songs with such lyrics as: “I love you so much, I want to hold you forever” etc. One scene has a guy dreaming about being a caveman with two nurses and the song starts up, “I’m a caveman baby..a Romantic skin flick A small community is besieged by vampires. After he watches friends ravaged in a convenience store, a lone avenger goes off to do battle with the undead, armed with shotgun, chainsaw, and Holy water. Later he finds other survivors and they try to stay alive long enough to do battle with Liven, king of the vampires. Director Daisuke Gotoh clearly doesn't understand the erotic psychology behind a successful (or even interesting) women-in-prison film. I mean, the primary component of dykey-women-molesting-other-women-behind-bars seems to have completely escaped him in this one! Yoko Saito is certainly well-cast as the pretty Scorpion, unjustly accused, convicted, and thrown into a California women's penitentiary on clearly spurious grounds. But once she's there, nothing even remotely interesting happens. Yes, there are some dykey-looking women about, as well as some pretty young female inmates just waiting to be sexually victimized by them. But it never happens. There's really no lesbianism whatsoever. Instead, it's the male warden and his guards doing all the dirty work. So why the women-in-prison setting? If he didn't want to include scenes involving girls with other girls he should have set this story in a nightclub or brothel.
