The operators of 'Silver Haven', a cultish group bilking gullible rich people out of money, is set to inherit a large sum after the deceased woman's heir also dies. Leader Joesph Jones decides to hurry the process along and kidnaps Wally Benton, his fiance and a friend to further this goal. Wally is "The Fox", a radio sleuth who solves murders on the air. Sergio Fantoni is not a super-star as Fairbanks or Valentino but he is a good cast as Orloff. The ball-room scenes, the costumes and the uniforms are good (Walter Patriarca was the costume-designer). Umberto Lenzi, the director, and the script-writer Malatesta deliver us a fine historical movie with passion and adventure. Another planet in the period of medieval times. But the resident perishes under an unlucky attempt to make a palace coup, and Rumata have to take his place as the resident. Soon he meets all the horrors of the medieval society - a peasant war, palace coups, mass executions. To continue to be an indifferent watcher of all these horrors turns out to be simply impossible...
