Yun-hong lives with her mother in a secluded mountain village. She is bored of her eventless life in the mountains and decides to move to Seoul without telling her mother. On the day she finally heads to Seoul, she witnesses a stranger kill her uncle. She manages to escape the scene, but the bad men chase her to her house. Realizing her mother is in danger, Yun-hong starts running toward her house.

In a world abandoned by humans, a mechanical monk follows a strange little red man. After crossing forests, dead cities and desolate plains, the two odd characters reach the top of a magic hill. Due to our increased reliance on technology over the past 65 years, this film acknowledges that procedure is important, but focuses on the procedure of human thought rather than completely pre-planned execution. One of my main tenets in this film was "do what you feel like" - sometimes I'd go in a different direction, throw out what was done previously, all based on my emotional response to my most current iteration. When I needed something more, I searched and created until I found/made what I needed.
