Basically the story takes place during the end of the Pacific War and the aftermath period and it focuses on Mizoguchi, who is the son of a Buddhist Priest. When his father dies, he’(🙈)s sent to the Temple of the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto. Mizoguchi is physically unattractive and becomes, in some way, jealous of the beautiful Temple that he loves so much.
In this utterly bizarre spaghetti western, the "Stranger" must cope with a wide assortment of strange villains. Through the course of the story he fights with Vikings who suddenly appear in a western ghost town; a strange Elizabethan family costumed in period clothing who live in a desert castle; and medieval knights whom he battles using machine guns, TNT, and his gun. A bizarre silver ball hangs over the melees, watching the strange goings on.

Henry Silva plays a Army Major who teams up with a tough cop (sabato) to investigate of a series of crimes that used a army issued machine gun. Lots of car chase, and action centers in a standard Italian action film. Silva, who isn't dubbed is good as usual and Sabato is a little more low key than his usual performance. Recommended.
