There are half-naked women aplenty, underwear everywhere, tricky situations and doubles entendres galore in this very stagy bedroom farce. just viewed this movie and decided to take the time to make some comments since no one else has.overall I give the movie a 7,the score would be higher if there were less blood and more clothes on the females.Deserves an R rating.In the 1960's and 70's I spent many hours being entertained by dubbed movies,this one is dubbed so it is to my liking.What I like about it in no certain order is as follows:The movie is about the mafia...it's made by Italians,has alot of Italian actors...it seems fitting.Set in the early 1900's in America it has a dark look and mood...great atmosphere.I believe the character lionel stander plays is the same one ernest borgnine had in the movie "pay or die" that of an Italian on the police force combating the mafia,based on a real person.His character gives a sense of realism to the movie and made me wonder if the movie was based some on fact.The little I know about the real person is similar to the character in the movie.In the past I havn't seen much of Lionel stander in the movies but his performance as a tough cop is very good.He is not the main character though,a young man(placido ?)is,he plays a young immigrant that is a victim of circumstance.He is a just person that kills an expendable gangster in the heat of a fight,the victim had previously killed an elderly friend of his.He gets employment from the mob being unaware of the serious unlawful part he has in one of their cold blooded operations...he is a tragic figure.Other viewers might feel this movie is just another low budget poorly dubbed movie.The film left me with the feeling it may have been based more on fact than much more expensively made films about organized crime.It also left me wondering if the young main character was based on a real person-I liked the movie. Valerie, a beautiful young girl, watches over her cousin's place while he is away for six months. Not one to take advantage of her new "digs", she spends her first night there reading, playing records and. calling her girlfriend Sophie over for some hot lesbian sex! Later that night, members of a crazed sex cult break in and mistakenly kidnap Sophie. It seems Valerie's cousin, a member of this cult, has some incriminating photos and the leader wants to ruin his life. Realizing the mistake, the cult leader sends over a sultry French maid to seduce and kidnap Valerie (only AFTER some steamy sex, of course). Once the kidnapping plot is uncovered, Valerie and Sophie's horny friend Fred head over to the cult's mansion stronghold to put a stop to all this madness! The history of the film is based on the renewal of an old friendship happening in unforeseen and strange circumstances. Seyed (Behrooz Vousoughi) is a drug addict working small jobs in a theatre to pay for his heavy addiction. One day he is visited by an old friend, Ghodrat (Faramarz Gharibian), for whom he was a role model and protector when they were teenagers. Ghodrat has just been shot by the police when an armed robbery went wrong and is now looking for a safe place to lay low for a while. Hence, he comes to stay with the only person that he could trust, Seyed. However, what he sees is miles away from the Seyed that he knew and had in mind. Although they are both happy to find each other after so many years, Ghodrat is completely shocked to see Seyed, once the ruler of the high school yards and neighbourhoods, to have become a complete and utterly useless heavy drug user living in a lowly state of physical and social being. "I Wish You Love" offers a time capsule of Miss Dietrich's legendary stage act. The television special was taped in London over two days and later edited to a one-hour concert version. Dietrich wasn't pleased with the final result, saying that it "ain't as good," not on a par with her usual exellence. Still, if this late Dietrich concert doesn't show the diva at her most brilliant, it is still fascinating to watch her cast her spell over an audience and the artful way in which she manoevures their every emotion with her choreographed moves and song. She sings some of her old movie songs, war ballads and love songs. Highlights include her rendition of "Where have all the flowers gone."
