A man dreams he committed murder, then begins to suspect it was real. At the Polar Bar & Grill in the Klondike, Popeye and Olive Oyl are the sole proprietors. Dangerous Dan McBluto, the owner of a fur farm, walks in and kidnaps Olive. Bang Han-whan (Nam Hong-il), who comes from a fishing village, goes to Seoul, Korea with great ambition to be successful. But he wastes his time and money on a geisha, San-hong (Han Eun-jin). One day he receives a telegram that his father is severely ill, goes back to his hometown, regrets what he has done in Seoul, and returns to the life as a sincere fisherman. One day San-hong visits him and he honestly tells her what he has on his mind. She listens to him wholeheartedly, goes back to Seoul and becomes a factory worker. When Hong-il's fishing farm faces financial difficulties, San-hong finds out about it, and sends him the money she had earned up until then. The door of happiness opens for them. Susanne Wallner returns to the ruins of Berlin from a Concentration Camp after WW2 to discover that someone else lives in her apartment: Dr. Hans Mertens, the war made him depressive and he drinks a lot of alcohol. Susanne asks him to go but he doesn't want to, so they share Susanne's apartment and even discover their sympathy and then their love for each other. That encourages him a little, of course. But then he hears that Ferdinand Brückner is still alive and also lives in Berlin. His wife Victoria, once supportive, now is struggling to pay bills. She urges her stubborn and older husband to return to the magic field where Diijon was considered one of the greats. He refuses but does reluctantly agree to do a hypnotism nightclub act at Victoria's urging. The act goes bad and he's laughed off the stage. He's convinced this is the handiwork of Victoria's ex-lover Tony Holliday. Later, Diijon finds that he does indeed have the power to control men's minds and begins to take revenge on the people he felt made him look like a fool. He hypnotizes his young wife to kill the man. Unfortunately for Diijon, things go horribly wrong.
