Country-Western Wildcats! Marsha Jordan – the first real star of Sexploitation –(🏎) is Sweet Georgia, the sex-crazed nympho wife of rancher Big T. Unfortunately, because Big T is an ugly, abusive drunk, Georgia looks for her lovin’ elsewhere – starting with Cal, the stud ranchhand, then moving on to Virginia, Big T’s daughter, who spends her days riding her horsey in the nude. Of course, since Georgia’s only Virgina’(👙)s stepmom, the two think a little down-home girl-girl action is perfectly fine, especially around a romantic campfire. But when Georgia makes it with dumb ol’ Leroy, everything gets violent. Yup, just when you think you’(🥃)ve got this film figured out, an accidental death somehow escalates into one grisly murder after another. Plus: See what happens when a country singer meets a Country Hooker as Dave and his pal Billy B get detoured from a gig at a country-western bar by sexy hitchhikers Jen and Su (played by cinema sex kittens Sandy Dempsey and the legendary Rene Bond). The girls, however, are actually in the employ of sleazy Mike, The Singing Pimp, who wants the boys waylaid so he can continu polluting the bar with his prostitution racket and rotten music. But when Jen and Su end up falling for the two dumb lugs, Mike adds “strangler” to his already unsavory resume’…. There are half-naked women aplenty, underwear everywhere, tricky situations and doubles entendres galore in this very stagy bedroom farce. ...I'll take this almost intolerably nasty 1972 Italian drive-in movie, which features Mark Lester (of OLIVER! fame) as a kidnap victim who gets into scrapes that, in their uncut version, would probably get this movie in Federal chickenhawk-busting trouble today. Franco Nero and Telly Savalas are the two conscienceless galoots who are the movie's anti-heroes; Savalas re-ups his giggling hillbilly cretin from THE DIRTY DOZEN, here caricatured to beyond a fare-thee-well. Savalas is the cherry on the cake of what may be the most remarkable set piece in all seventies Italian exploitation: calming a tourist family, packing them in their mobile home, then untethering the trailer and singing a gospel hymn as the terrified Germans plunge into the drink. If I'm not misremembering, there may be a little jig involved here as well. Various stories intertwine within the walls of a popular Parisian brothel on the eve of the First World War. Emperor Raja Raja Chozan seems to count a little too much on his newly-appointed, deceptive minister. But he knows what he is doing. Hard on the heels of evil...soft on the lips of sheilahs! Light-hearted and occasionally unclothed adaptation of a British comic strip in the over-the-top, on-beyond-Bond spy fantasy vein... Stuart Whitman is Shatter, an international hitman who is hiding out in Hong Kong after he has completed a contract out on an African leader. Shatter soon finds out that everyone wants him dead, including the crime syndicate, the cops and the brother of the African leader he killed. Shatter teams up with a kung fu expert (Ti Lung) to try to get the money that is owed to him. Various double crosses and fight scenes ensue.
