A crazed military explosives expert heads for Los Angeles with an RV full of explosives, intending to blow up a rock festival and kill all the “hippies”. An army officer is sent to stop him. Parentless, the oldest of five takes a job in a mill to support his younger siblings. He works hard but is stingy with the money he earns as he hopes to save it for his brothers and sister. Waiting for them at "The Last Great Festival" were over 600,000 fans who had already torn down the barriers, crashed the gates, and enjoyed performances by the world's top acts such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Miles Davis and Joni Mitchell.
