少(🈁)年汤米(🤡)是(shì )一(🎸)个很有(😉)天(tiān )赋(📂)的作(zuò(♎) )曲家，他(👸)一直希望(wàng )能进入(rù )著名的悉尼(ní )音乐(🐷)学院(🧢)进(🌧)(jìn )修。但(🎗)(dàn )在澳(🏗)大(dà )利亚内地，汤米很(hěn )难找一支像样(⛲)的乐队(🐣)来(lái )演(🗂)奏自(zì(😊) )己的作(⬆)(zuò )品，以(➿)证明自(🚸)己的(de )实(⤴)力。一次机缘巧合，汤米遇(yù )到了一(📪)(yī )群(🙃)监(🔩)狱(yù )犯(🍋)人，没想(😌)(xiǎng )到后者的演奏水平，正符合他(tā )的要求(qiú )…(🌜)… Tony Lo Bianco (G. Tinti) an American cop transferred to Italy, becomes Maurice's right-hand man. Maurice is a famous "camorra " boss. He is planning an assault to a post office near Naples. During the robbery, another boss called "the panther" shots over Maurice's band wounding Lo Bianco. Fortunately Lo Bianco does not die and he starts to investigating about Maurice's past. He finds out that the boss is protected by the Italian Secret Service because he has some important documents regarding drug traffics where Italian minister are involved. Lo Bianco finds the documents and he is ready to give it to a magistrate but he is killed before leaving Italy. This is the worst Italian crime film that I have seen. Acting is poor and actors too. The careful viewer will notice that sometimes the actors look at the camera during their dialogues. Even if the film has been shot in Italian the dubbing is simply shoddy, with false Neapolitan accent. As his investigation picks up intensity, the grieving mother begins a battle of will and vengeance with members of Caswell, igniting a class war between two vastly different towns in rural America. This Italian produced, NYC lensed heist picture is actually quite entertaining with a few nice twists. Retired safe cracker Chris Gretchko (Lee Van Cleef) is lured to a job by the son (Edward Albert) of an ex-buddy. He flies to NYC and finds out he will be lifting $1 million in diamonds for a shady German group. It all goes smoothly until he learns that the group has plans to kill the second he has the safe open. Directed by Antonio Margheriti (as Anthony Dawson), this flick benefits from a clever script, great performances and evocative locations in New York. Van Cleef is his usual gruff self and he plays most scenes off Albert or hippie chick/life saver Karen Black. Lionel Stander appears as Gretchko's old-time fence. He's on less than good terms as well with his brother Peter who feels that Tommy abandoned him when their father died. When Mick Cambrey is found dead in his shop in the village, the police arrest his father-in-law John Penellin, the Lynleys long-time estate manager. Lynley and Haver soon determine that the death is related to drug smuggling. When one of the weekend guests, Justin Brooke, is found dead on the estate, they realize something other than heroin was being smuggled. The "Jack Squad” is the urban tale of three women who have nothing but money on their minds after each one has a loss of financial in***e. Childhood best friends Kennedy, Mona, and Dawn embark on a plan to seduce and rob wealthy men. Using cunning acts of seduction and betrayal, the girls go full speed ahead with charm and sex as their weapons to be***e financially independent. Soon, however, everything backfires when they get involved with a vicious Under-Lord and a murder counters their actions. The women be***e enveloped in a world of deceit and murder, as they discover that what ***es around goes around. It is now up to them to figure out what the next step is and how to get out of this vicious cycle of death before it is too late. The Last Desperate Hours benefits immensely from two great leading performances; chiefly Antonio Sabato in the lead role. Sabato fits his character like a glove and comes across excellently as the detestable sleazebag at the centre of the film. He gets great backup from Pier Paolo Capponi as the lead cop on the case. The atmosphere created by Giorgio Stegani is just great and he manages to create an impression of Milan that is as downtrodden and corrupt as the lead character. The film features the Spaghetti style that most genre fans will appreciate - the score by Gianni Marchetti is truly memorable. The plot flows quickly throughout and none of the ninety minute running time is wasted. The director ensures that we always know the central figure is on a deadline and he keeps things interesting by keeping up the cat and mouse game between cop and criminal, as well as implementing a good few murder scenes - one involving a medical saw is a particular highlight! It all boils down to a surprising, yet fitting ending and overall this crime flick is one of the best Eurocrime entries that I've seen and is well worth the trouble of tracking down!
