An old-fashioned revival of faith sparked by a message from Mars touches an Earth under threat of nuclear war. This probably seems like a silly plot idea to a lot of modern sophisticated people. Except, this is almost what happened in Eastern Europe in our lifetime. Pushed beyond its military-industrial ability by the defense initiatives of Ronald Reagan(also a man of faith), the Soviet Bloc was pushed over the edge as people of faith in Poland, the Baltic republics, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, and even Mother Russia herself protested and pushed toward democracy and freedom. The combination of political, economic, and spiritual forces have reshaped a continent and changed our world. The candles and prayers didn't hurt. Meanwhile, Jiro Katagiri is up to no good with his gangster friends and ends up making off with all their ill-gotten gains, much to their disapproval. The two misfits end up meeting after a car crash and soon end up on the road together in (another) stolen car. It’s not long before the police take an interest in the crimes, and of course the gangsters are hot on Jiri’s heels; meaning the two must scarper across Japan by any means necessary. “湾(wān )岸テレビ(💒)ジョン(😍)”の体感(🌏)(gǎn )実験(🌬)番組に(🌪)参加す(🐊)る為、心霊(líng )サイトで知り合ったメンバーの(🍯)玲、(👝)美(🏐)(měi )玖(🌻)、真野(🏸)田、巌(🥇)(yán )と共(🌶)に、10年前、5人(rén )の少女たちが消(🚫)えた心(🛰)霊スポ(😑)ットで(🕋)あると(📳)ある廃(fèi )ビルへとやって来(lái )たエキセントリックな(🤫)美少(🕔)女(〽)・ク(✋)ロエは(🅾)、そこ(🍡)で夢で(👅)見た化けものに襲(xí )われ(🚸)る。次(cì(🤧) )々にメ(🏀)ンバー(📹)を惨(cǎ(🎂)n )殺して(🦔)いく化けもの。しかし、それは彼らの恐怖心が(🏂)生(shē(🌫)ng )み(🏟)出し(🧠)たもの(💰)だった(🖍)。そのこ(😥)とに気(qì )づいたクロエは、化け(🍕)ものに(🎣)立ち向(🌝)かい、(🛍)みごと(🥩)退治する――と言うところでドラマの撮影が終了し(⛲)た。主(🚮)演(💜)女優(📼)のクロ(🗄)エは、(👶)役にな(🕦)りきり自分の世界を演じてきっ(🥎)てみせ(💡)た。 片中(💮)一(yī )位(🎀)名叫(jià(📖)o )莫娜的女人(rén )为了夺(duó )回自己女儿(ér )的监护(hù(😁) )权，向社(💥)工(gō(⏸)ng )讲(jiǎng )述(📗)了自己(🎟)的故事(➿)(shì )，但实际上这些故(gù )事是女主人(🌛)公为了(🥇)(le )减轻生(🦖)活的痛(⏩)苦而(é(💚)r )营造的幻想。 钟镇涛是香港一家(jiā )广告公司的负责人(ré(🥀)n )，与模(⏮)特(❗)儿胡(🚉)茵梦(mè(🎷)ng )在事业(😌)上合作(🐆)得极(jí )为成功，已论婚嫁(jià )，在胡茵(🤭)梦(mèng )生(🚲)日那(nà(🍎) )天，钟发(👔)现(xiàn )她(✂)对他(tā )不忠，伤心(xīn )之下去(qù )外面散散心(xīn )。 "The Eye Creatures" is based on the slightly less ridiculous 1957 movie "Invasion of the Saucer Men," and is less an homage as an exact carbon copy, reproducing basically the same characters, scenes and lines, only worse. The one chance that "Eye Creatures" had at improving over the original involves the monsters and the way they are defeated (not to give anything away) but is squandered with the poor production values present. Eye creatures wearing only the mask of their outfit, or running around is comfortable tennis shoes destroy any possibility of respect for this film. Luckily this movie is short enough to be amusing, without stretching on into grating. Best watched on Mystery Science Theater, if possible.
