While waiting for her more adventurous friend outside a seedy dance bar, she is approached by two men who ''naturally'' assume that any woman hanging around such a joint is looking for action. Even with their certain alcohol and testosterone overloads, they could not possibly interpret her rejections as merely playing hard to get. But hey, they only gave her what was coming to her, right? I mean, what was she doing hanging around a place like that at that time of night, anyways? This episode proceeds through the mens' idea of foreplay. But, although the woman's experience must certainly have been traumatic, she manages to avoid penetration by maiming her prospective rapists in an almost comical way. You can imagine her disbelief when, after her friends and family discourage her from pressing charges, she is informed that her attacker has the impudence to charge her with assault. Mistral, a beautiful girl on the edge of adulthood, leaves the convent in which she was raised to live with her Aunt Emilie, unaware that her aunt is a ruthless manipulator who will use anyone to get what she wants. Mistral is quickly enmeshed in a vicious plot of revenge An art restorer and (of neccessity) a bit of a historian, Eric (Tcheky Karyo) has been asked to come to a very spooky mansion to restore what looks to be a painting by a hideously deformed, mentally deranged artist who is only now becoming popular, years after his death. As he restores the painting, he begins to have strange flashbacks, as if he were the painter himself. Meanwhile, he is developing a relationship with the painting's lovely owner (Laura Morante). The painting is a picture of the girl's grandmother, and as the restoration progresses, both he and the girl begin to reenact the stormy relationship between the painter and his subject, as if they were possessed.
