Shortly thereafter a son, Vikramdev, is born to Meenakshi, and Nandini plots with a sorcerer, Mahendra, who turns Suryadev and Meenakshi into a pearl necklace, and a beggar respectively, while he takes on the guise of Suryadev himself, declares that Vikramdev and Meenakshi are dead, weds Nandini, and subsequently announces that they are parents of a daughter, Pallavi, who is actually his biological daughter from a previous marriage. First, a father of four is killed by his second son who is then given the death penalty. The eldest son is killed in a battle against Japanese soldiers. Sanjukta trusts Ajay, until one day when a villager complains to her that Ajay has got his daughter, Geeta, pregnant; additionally she also finds out that Ajay has been misappropriating money, and also owes money to a prostitute named Leelabai, the very woman who sold Tulsi to Rajnath. Now Sanjukta has to decide what is to be done with Ajay. A series of mysterious aquatic attacks indicate the presence of some huge, previously unknown giant species of shark that has risen to the surface and is preying on tourists, fishermen, researchers, etc. A local beachcomber and scam artist, Sullivan, will have to put out to sea to defeat it.
