This film is considered to be an homage to Antonioni as it uses his favorite leading actress (Monica Vitti) and his cameraman Carlo di Palma. This film was made at a time when Jancso was not allowed to make films in his native Hungary. While covering an Italian political protest, a journalist played by Vitti, finds herself surrounded by a group of young men who jostle her, remove her recording equipment and set fire to her car. She goes to the police but when they bring one of the assailants before her to identify, she lies and says that he is not one of the attackers. This leads to her having a romantic relationship with this mysterious young man-- an Italian neo-fascist who has been given the job of assassinating a leftist. Franco Sereni, a captain of carabiniers, is dismissed from service for being the proponent of "the law of the gun". He is asked to hold a private investigation of several cases of blackmailing wealthy women. Soon Sereni finds out that there is much more then just blackmailing. Tony Lo Bianco (G. Tinti) an American cop transferred to Italy, becomes Maurice's right-hand man. Maurice is a famous "camorra " boss. He is planning an assault to a post office near Naples. During the robbery, another boss called "the panther" shots over Maurice's band wounding Lo Bianco. Fortunately Lo Bianco does not die and he starts to investigating about Maurice's past. He finds out that the boss is protected by the Italian Secret Service because he has some important documents regarding drug traffics where Italian minister are involved. Lo Bianco finds the documents and he is ready to give it to a magistrate but he is killed before leaving Italy. This is the worst Italian crime film that I have seen. Acting is poor and actors too. The careful viewer will notice that sometimes the actors look at the camera during their dialogues. Even if the film has been shot in Italian the dubbing is simply shoddy, with false Neapolitan accent. The action is slow and boring. Hunky secret agent man Fabio Testi (as Renzo) beds women, hunts uranium, and pals around Venice with handsome hetero partner Assaf Dayan (as Dan). Sexy Janet Agren (as Helga) provides the two with a amorous assignment, which Testi accepts. After bedding down with the quickly undressed damsel, Testi thinks she can offer no leads, but Mr. Dayan suspects otherwise. The best part of "The Uranium Conspiracy" is the lovely location scenery. The film's excitement grows much more exciting in its final act, with the dynamic duo of Testi and Dayan making an action-packed escape from some bad dudes. Poor Lil' Pimp (voice of Mark Brooks). The little boy just doesn't seem to fit in at home in squeaky-clean suburbia. His only friend is a foul-mouthed talking gerbil, Weathers (Ludacris). Then one day, by accident, he runs into a dazzling 'ho, Sweet Chiffon (Lil' Kim), who takes him to a bar called Playground, a hip-hop wonderland where he befriends master pimp Fruit Juice (Bernie Mac) and is introduced to the world of pimping. There's no place like the Playground and Lil' Pimp calls it home. But his new life and the lives of his beloved 'hos and pimps is endangered by the machinations of the city's scheming, duplicitous mayor Tony Gold (William Shatner). Unless Gold can be exposed for the rat bastard that he is, the Playground and the ghetto surrounding it will be transformed into a toxic golf course. When members of the crime syndicate Ku Klux Eiffel also set their sights on the fortune, Saturnin seems doomed. But then Saturnin decides to challenge the hoodlums; a series of daredevil exploits on top of the Eiffel Tower follows.
