It's little wonder that every woman in the film swoons and sighs at the sight of him and all men, even the baddies, are awestruck at his appearance. Not that they show him constant respecto, if that were the case we wouldn't have much of a picture. Sure, it's a simple trifle in film history, if even that, and seeing Sangue di sbirro today is at best mildly entertaining. For although made in the heyday of the Italian crime genre this one is no zenith. Dan Caputo (George Eastman of dubious Antropophagus-fame) arrives in New York to avenge the death of his father, a cop involved with the mafia. Dan clears up the murder (and kills what seem like some 30 people) with help of local mob boss Duke (Jack Palance) and then flies back to wherever he came from. Possibly there is a bit more to the story, but the script is so confused so there is little point in trying to describe the goings-on. Suffice to say there is a little romance, brief scenes childhood reminiscing, and a helluva lot of shoot outs. Some of which are quite exiting in a cheapo euro trash way. The highlight of the film is definitely the opening scene at the airport when Dan arrives during some sort of terrorist attack simply to shoot his way through it. All in all it's not a badly done revenge film technically, and it's clichéd in the best sense of the word, but it suffers from some seriously dragging scenes, and a poorly executed whodunit sub plot, which slows the whole thing down. This film is considered to be an homage to Antonioni as it uses his favorite leading actress (Monica Vitti) and his cameraman Carlo di Palma. This film was made at a time when Jancso was not allowed to make films in his native Hungary. While covering an Italian political protest, a journalist played by Vitti, finds herself surrounded by a group of young men who jostle her, remove her recording equipment and set fire to her car. She goes to the police but when they bring one of the assailants before her to identify, she lies and says that he is not one of the attackers. This leads to her having a romantic relationship with this mysterious young man-- an Italian neo-fascist who has been given the job of assassinating a leftist. 《用(🍲)心(xīn )跳》讲(🐄)述的是个穿(🚦)越的题材，三(🌶)十年代的(⚾)六(liù )个戏(xì(🐂) )班小子穿(chuā(👪)n )越时(shí )空(✂)隧道来到2009年(✨)(nián )的上(shàng )海(😮)，却必(bì )须(🍡)每(měi )人收两(🛣)个徒弟才能“回到过去”。片中(🚪)(zhōng )胡军(🐈)(jun1 )扮演六个(gè )小子(zǐ )的师傅(🌈)，林熙(xī(👧) )蕾扮(😾)演现代社(shè )会中(zhōng )的(🎏)老板娘，赵(zhà(🏦)o )雅芝则扮(🍂)演俄国血统(😵)的神(shén )秘女(🗣)子。 A penniless socialite is hired by two young men as a front in their plan to start a magazine. Soon, however, they find themselves more interested in her than in their publishing venture. Charming movie. Fun and entertaining poliziottesco that doesn't take itself too serious. The Italian DVD is wide screen and includes the superior Italian dub (with English subtitles); don't see the American crappy DVD's that are out there. It also has nice extra's and even those are subtitled. Hail to Raro Video. The soundtrack is strange and original. And it works quite well. I wonder if it is out there on CD. The big name is of course Jack Palance, but my favorite character in the movie is Napoli, played by Vittorio Caprioli. Perhaps not one of Fernando Di Leo's best, but very entertaining indeed.
